Samhain
Major Sabbat
In the Wheel of the Year, Samhain is a pivotal moment, a scared crossroads where the past and present converge, and the veil between worlds is the thinnest. Samhain, also known as the Feast of the Dead, Feast of Apples, or Ancestor Night, has woven itself into the fabric of contemporary celebrations.

Yule
Minor Sabbat
Yule (from the Norse “Iul”, meaning “wheel”) has the shortest day and the longest night of the year. It is the turning point in the dark half of the year, going from the waxing to the waning year. Yule is a time to celebrate the return of the sun and the rebirth of the God. It is a time to think about your hopes for the coming year, and your plans and aspirations.
